After having unveiled its new Skeleton X in 2019, a skeleton watch showcasing watchmaking technology and complexity, Ulysse Nardin is adding two models to its collection, embellished with diamonds for enthusiasts of exclusive and sparkling timepieces. The diamonds, the purest mineral made of a single element, are enigmatic and a symbol of rigor. They sensually adorn these two marvels to reflect the strength and invincibility rooted in each of us.

There are two versions of the Skeleton X Sparkling: a white titanium version with a mother-of-pearl decoration on the barrel and a white alligator strap, and a black 4N pink gold version with a black PVD brass barrel cover and a black alligator strap.

With its skeleton structure, the Skeleton X Sparkling opens itself up and allows you to see what makes it tick, revealing all its secrets. The boundaries between the inside and outside are erased. Shrouded in diamonds, its appearance pushes to a pinnacle, the transparency of its powerful UN-371 manufacture movement. Thanks to a meticulously open structure which however conserves its resilience to impacts, the breathtaking beauty of its beating heart is striking.

Decorated with 80 diamonds on the bezel and 69 on the dial, the Skeleton X Sparkling collection is of a relatively small size of only 42mm and fully follows the current trend: its curves give way to sharp lines for more masculinity. Its nested geometry – an X formed by four of the hour markers is framed by a rectangle, itself in a circle – is a real treat for the eyes.

A refined profile and silhouette, crafted finishes, a hand-polished surface for a sparkling luster, the Skeleton X Sparkling reveals the work of the craftsman as well as the experience and know-how of the watchmaker. All is transparency, whereas the invisible mechanisms of time are unmasked in all their splendor.

Inside and clearly visible beats one of the FREAK VISION’s greatest innovations: an extra-wide, super-light balance wheel in silicon, with nickel flyweights and stabilizing micro-blades. The Manufacture movement, UN- 371 caliber, is an entirely reworked version of the UN-171 movement. The 96-hour power reserve is displayed through the apertures on the barrel visible on the back of the watch.
